Founded in 2002, NEXXUS epitomises the pace, energy and technological advancement of the new millennium. The relative youth of our founding partners, Andre Mapolie and Johnson Hsu, belies the extent of their experience and the quality of their expertise.
André matriculated at 16 and when a friend asked him to help research where certain products were imported from, his interest in trading was piqued, and the rest, as they say, is history.
A true prodigy of the import industry, Andre was mentored by the owner of Britos Foods where he was a director for 10 years.
Johnson was exporting beverages from South Africa when their paths crossed. A mutual respect for each other’s professionalism and transparent, ethical and innovative approach to business ensued. Their talents dovetailed and, inevitably, they joined forces.
The company’s growth has been phenomenal; the result of the dedication, drive and collective will of the NEXXUS team. Ours is a never-ending journey of learning, fine-tuning and focusing.
